How you can help Marshall County CAJA
CAJA empowers citizens to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children of Marshall County, Alabama.
The CAJA mission statement says:
To speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children in Juvenile Court by providing screened, well-trained community volunteers to be court appointed advocates to children in order to ensure each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
As a CAJA volunteers you will be appointed by a Judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in court in Marshall County. You will be trained to independently and comprehensively investigate the child’s circumstances; facilitate community services for the child and family; provide a written report to the court; and monitor the case to ensure compliance with the court orders. Your work will be supervised by our Volunteer Coordinator.

Become a Friend of CAJA of Marshall County
Join the Friends of CAJA and help CAJA of Marshall County advocate for abused and neglected children in Marshall County. Annual dues are $100.
